Can You Vacuum With Batteries?

By Jerry A. Blackburn

A vacuum cleaner is a cleaning tool that almost everyone needs at one time or another. You can get some great electric vacuum cleaners that will give you a good clean or your carpet and flooring. Although vacuum cleaners are most often used on carpeting, there are many times you will have use for a vacuum cleaner even without carpeting. In many of these situations, a good cordless vacuum would come in very handy.

Cordless vacuums come in many different styles and brands. While they may range from cheap to expensive, you don't have to spend a lot to own a good cordless vacuum. You will find they are very handy in the office, car or home. There's many times when something small is spilled or dropped and you just don't need a large vacuum cleaner. Not only will they do a great job as a quick picker upper, but they are also small and compact. They're small enough that you can take them with you when you travel. After all, accidents do happen, especially when you travel with children.

You'll love the ease in handling that a cordless vacuum offers. They're great for cleaning those hard to reach places where a large electric vacuum just wouldn't fit or in the car. A cordless vacuum can run on a battery. Most of time when you purchase a cordless vacuum, a battery charger will be included. The battery charger gets plugged into the wall possibly overnight and the vacuum is ready for a couple more hours of service before it needs recharging again.

I use a cordless vacuum for my car and wouldn't be without it. Everyone should own a cordless vacuum. How many times have you just vacuumed your home and put the large vacuum cleaner away to have someone tip over an ashtray or spill a bowl of peanuts or something small? With the convenience offered by a cordless vacuum, you can have it picked up in a matter of minutes without a cord stretched across your room.

A cordless vacuum is a great addition to your vacation luggage. If your car gets messy (and whose doesn't on vacation?), you don't have to wait until you get home to get it vacuumed. Most cordless vacuums come with a couple of small attachments for those hard to reach areas. Bring along your vacuum and an extra set of batteries, and you'll be able to vacuum regardless of where you travel.
